Fire and Security Engineer

Your future employer is offering an exciting opportunity to join their rapidly growing business in the Fire and Security industry. They are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer provide support to their customers in the South of England, carrying out maintenance, servicing and installations on a variety of fire and security equipment. A generous package is on offer, including a basic salary of £38,000 - £40,000, plus unlimited overtime paid at enhanced rates, as well as a yearly £2,000 bonus and overtime, where OTE will be between £44,000 - £50,000 This is a Monday to Friday only position, with a 1 in 6 on call rota.

 

The ideal candidate will come from an experienced background in fire and security, working on door access, fire alarms, intruder alarms, intercoms, and more.

 

Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer include:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of fire and security equipment
• Carrying out installations as required
• Travelling across a local patch and further afield as required (predominantly London and the Home Counties)
• Liaising with the service team for incoming work
• Maintaining company vehicle and vehicle stock as required
• Adhering to company SLAs and KPIs

 

Required experience of the Field Service Engineer:

• 2 year’s engineering experience on fire and security equipment
• Strong IP network knowledge
• Full, clean UK Drivers licence
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
