Assistant Technical Manager – Food Manufacturing
Canterbury, Kent | £35,000 - £40,000 | Monday - Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Technical Manager to join a leading food manufacturer in Canterbury. This role is perfect for someone with food manufacturing experience who is looking to step up into a leadership position within a technical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Factory Manager in ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards
• Maintain and develop HACCP plans, audits, and quality management systems
• Oversee customer and supplier technical queries, ensuring prompt resolution
• Lead internal audits and support external audit preparations
• Ensure product specifications, labelling, and traceability meet regulatory requirements
• Drive continuous improvement in food safety and quality processes
